An estate tour and tasting at Loch Mór Cider offers a focused, behind-the-scenes look at how the award winning ciders are grown and made.
The experience begins in the orchard, where one of the cider making team walks you through the estate’s apple varieties, growing practices, and the influence of soil and climate on flavour. From there, you move into the cidery to learn about pressing, fermentation, and aging, with insight into both traditional techniques and modern precision.
The visit concludes with a guided tasting of a selection of estate ciders, each introduced with context about the apples, vintage, and production choices. It’s an informative, relaxed experience that connects the land directly to the glass.
Estate tours and tastings are $50 + tax .
Tasting fees are payable on the day; there is no charge for reserving your visit (but please let us know if you need to cancel as we’ll be holding your space for you hello@lochmorcider.com)
Estate tours are offered on Friday afternoons from end May – August at 3pm. The system will only allow bookings until the day before the tasting date (it won’t let you book for the same day) & up to five months in advance.
